Not every client has the same needs but in the end the product will be the same. It is essential to get your business noticed and your online presence increased. I understand that a professionally designed website can greatly increase the status of a business. I am here to help you in a timely, stylish, and cost-effective way.

I can work with you to arrange payment plans if the need arises, and I am flexible with limited budgets. I do require a 30% non-negotiable, non-refundable deposit upfront and do not ask for the remainder of the total fee pending the competition of the job to your satisfaction, which can be made in payments agreed upon by both parties.

Before I determine the price I evaluate several key elements: the point you are at in your business, the nature of your business, number of staff, the point you are at in your business, and if it is a redesign or a brand new site.

Maybe you are a single parent with a side project you are starting in attempt to generate extra income. Perhaps you are a professional separating from an established company or an entrepreneur needing a website for your new business. I analyze your needs and treat every project differently.

What do I need to start building my website?

You need three things:

A Domain Name – A domain name is what your visitors will type in the address bar to find you (for example: osowebproductions.com is my domain name).  A .com domain name is the most commonly used extension.  There are many other extensions (.net, .org, .gov, .edu, .tv, etc).  You can do a quick search for a domain name at www.instantdomainsearch.com.

A Web Hosting Company – A web hosting company is like your space that you lease for your business except it’s on the web. This is where all of your website files go.  If you don’t know who to use for web hosting I will be happy to set you up with one.

A Professional Web Designer – Last but not least.  I wouldn’t get your brother-in-law unless he does it professionally.  Remember the old cheesy MySpace pages?  You don’t want your website looking like that.  I’m assuming you’re thinking of using me, and I am thankful that you are here.

How many pages can I have on my web site?

You can have as many pages as you want. Some of the main pages you’ll want to consider are: Home, About Us, Products or Services, Contact Us, FAQ. In addition to these main pages, you’ll want some complimentary pages as well to enhance and expand on your main pages. For example, you may want to add a testimonial page or a page to describe a service in depth.

Do I have to stay with you to keep my website?

No. Once I design your website, you own it.  I can give you a disk or send you the files through Hightail.com with your website files and database (for WordPress sites) to take to another web designer.  If I purchased the domain name for you, I always make your company the legal registrant.  Many web designers will make themselves the legal registrant either out of pure laziness or because they want to make it hard to leave them.

Do I get an email account with my website?

Yes, your hosting company will give you the ability to set up email addresses under your own domain name.  The company I use lets you set up as many email addresses as you want.

If you design my website, will I find my website on the search engines?

Yes, your website will eventually be indexed by search engines. I do a little bit optimizing with your title tags.  If you want me to do search engine optimization work on your site, I’ll set up local directory listings, build links, add relevant keywords, and more.

Can you get my website on the 1st page?

I don’t promise 1st page results on search engines, but I can tell you that I have gotten clients on the 1st page for relevant keywords. It’s a team effort. You provide me with information (words, photos, videos) about your business, and I will optimize it for you. If you’re not willing to talk about your business, then I can’t help you. This sounds easy, but it is not. Try this exercise, type up a 10 paragraph document discussing your business. Make sure that each paragraph has at least three sentences in it.

How long is it going to take?

Well there is no definite response. The time is determined on the complexity of the site and the volume of content you provide me with. Typically a basic 3-5 page site will take about 2-3 weeks.  Contact me for a more precise estimate.

Do you work remotely?

Absolutely!  I am very open to communicating with clients via email and phone, Skype meetings can also be arranged if you choose so. Prefer indirect communication? No problem email correspondence is very suitable.

Do you offer hosting?

I do not offer hosting services on my personal servers at this time. However I will set you up with a hosting account with the best rate possible at no extra cost to you, only fees you will pay are the hosting providers and domain name fees.

Who are you to take my money?

Well I’ll make it simple for you! I am just like you I am and was a startup. With that said I reach my customers on a personal level with the understanding that nobody wants to start a business in debt. So I live by the motto “Your website doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars. It just has to look like it.” This is why I build all my websites on a CMS (Content Management System) platform such as WordPress; this enables me to keep your cost to a minimum!

Why WordPress

WordPress is a base of a foundation on which a website is built upon, this eliminates a lot of hours of coding and designs that building from scratch would require. Another advantage is the client can opt to change some content themselves as WordPress is very user-friendly and easy to pick up, eliminating the need to hire me or someone else to manage small changes to the site.

Bottom Line

I am a business owner/operator just like you. I want to earn what my services are worth and not overcharge you and squeeze every last penny out of you. My prices are fair and every aspect of the design will be explained in detail.
